E-Content : Area of right triangle

Introduction

The area of a right triangle is the region that is covered inside the boundary of the right triangle. A right angled triangle is a triangle in which one of the angles is 90 degrees. The formula to calculate the area of a right triangle is given by,

Area, A = (1/2) ×b×h

where b is the base and h is the height. Hence the area of the right triangle is half the product of base and it's perpendicular height.
